About Peter Ungar

Ungar Architects are committed to producing high quality residential work which meets the objectives of the client, those of the site, building and local planning authorities as well as regulatory requirements associated with listed historic buildings or conservation areas.

The practice has completed a range of residential projects in North London, chiefly in Hampstead Garden Suburb, St. John’s Wood, Hampstead and Belsize Park. The practice has just completed a large basement development in Winnington Road with a glazed penthouse currently on site in Hampstead NW3.

Peter Ungar was born in London and trained at the Architectural Association and Cambridge University. After graduation he worked for Michael Hopkins and Partners on the New Parliament Building and Glyndebourne Opera House and later at Jamie Fobert Architects on a range of schemes including a 15,000 sq ft residence overlooking Port of Spain, Trinidad.
